Seasalt Bucket

Seasalt Bucket is one of the food stalls inside Le Village Lifestyle Park accessible by walk-in customers due to its proximity in the E. Rodriguez Avenue main road. You can choose any preferred seafood, unlimited or ala carte. I choose something that is rare, and that is the lobster, one of the expensive seafoods in the menu. Their updated price is P729 two two medium lobsters (October 2024). Unlike crabs, lobsters have thorny bone plates in the body. You need to use the gloves for the purpose. For lobsters, you have the choice for the flavourings, and I choose the cajun. They were cooked accordingly, and the plate was served freshly hot but oleaginous, with complementary lemon and corn. The lobsters are served in a seasonal manner, i.e. the catch depends on the harvest season, which they have the available baby and medium lobsters only. The seafoods are delicious, yet you can easily get messy with the oils on the pan.

I love the seafood mixed that we ordered. The rich spicy taste of their Canjun Sauce was superb. The serving is good enough for 2 person but if you want the serving for yourself then go for it. The price is reasonable enough to what they serve. 🦐🦀🦪🥟

We ordered SeaSalt Unli for 749PHP + 50 for unli Iced tea. The SeaSalt Unli includes mud crab, blue crab, mussels, clams, shrimps, corn and lemon. They are only limited to 2 flavors (cajun and garlic butter) w/c tasted identical, only difference is the cajun is a bit spicy. Food is ok but mudcrab taste a bit watery. Staff is not that accomodating, refills take alot of time and it's self service. If you want a refill, you gotta bring the tray to the stall and ask for a refill and you may wait for about 20-30mins.

The Seasalt Bucket offers a seafood buffet with unlimited servings at an advertised price of 549 pesos. However, our experience was marred by misleading ads as we ended up paying 749 pesos. This is not a good practice and the restaurant should be honest and upfront about their prices. Regarding the food, it was good but not exceptional. We were hoping for a more memorable culinary experience, but unfortunately, the seafood was not as fresh as we expected. Some of the mussels even tasted like they were not properly washed and had a muddy flavor. On a positive note, the staff was accommodating and courteous. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our meal. In summary, The Seasalt Bucket has a few things to work on. The misleading ads and subpar quality of some of their seafood items need to be addressed. However, the courteous staff and decent food still make it a viable option for those who want to satisfy their seafood cravings. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 3 out of 5.
