3 weeks agoOne of the most beautiful churches, Mother Perpetual Help, is visited by many people. It has a big and spacious interior and the priest is good at preaching. When my family and I went there last week, my children and my wife were really pleased with the beauty of the shrine of Mother Perpetual Help. I recommend that you visit the one from the province. Go to Mother Perpetual Help. You will not regret the beauty of this church. You will definitely come back here. It is a highly recommended church. Today, in March, on Easter Sunday, we will return here to a very beautiful place.

2 months agoI visited this lovely church 2 days ago. I had walked from my hotel to this church early in the morning. The facade is amazing and I love the architecture. Even though it is early in the morning, there is already a sizeable crowd there, both locals and tourists alike. The interior is huge with high ceilings. It was peaceful and serene. Many people come in daily for prayers. There is a local market located right outside the main gate of the church.

2 months agoThe National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help at Redemptorist Road, Parañaque City or popularly known as the Baclaran Church, is visited everyday by people from all walks of life. Stunning Romanesque architecture with a calming, solemn ambience even when there are no scheduled Masses or Novenas, churchgoers keep on flocking inside the church to pray. Even nice cats and friendly dogs are often spotted among the halls and they are not nuisance to people. Confession is regularly held at the little room by the Candle Chapel. Outside the church are spacious parking lots near St. Therese's park and fountain and the sprawling gardens are lined with towering trees plus the beautiful murals and monuments that have connection with history and struggle for human rights such as in the Garden of Desaparecidos. Pigeons and other birds make the trees their home. I wish that the administration would be stricter when it comes to imposing cleanliness within the church's premises as there are undisciplined churchgoers who just leave behind their trash even at the church pews in spite of the presence of trash segregation bins around. *photos of Baclaran Church from different dates of visit in 2024

5 months agoWalk towards the National Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and you'll come across a market with religious artifacts and local foods. Once you pass the cathedral gates, the energy shifts. You'll be able to hear the sermon and/or music. We visited on a weekday evening and it was full of visitors. The space is so large, you never feel overwhelmed. But it was amazing to realize how many people were there without an event or festival scheduled. There are endless opportunities to light candles. Enjoy the space!
