Highlands Coffee Philippines

Coffee here slaps! If you are a coffee person, this place is great. They don’t have much else available in terms of food or snacks, but Vietnamese coffee and tea options here are great. They also have Vietnamese sandwiches available, though they are kind of dry and not really too my taste. They have great seating options to hang out with friends or a date. They also have a bathroom here, plus power sockets on the floors and walls.

Excellent service. Great tasking coffee. Friendly staff. There are power outlets so you can charge your gadgets. But when I went there early this morning, there was a group of people who were shouting all the time. Not sure if they were drunk or high on drugs or plain rowdy. They were inconsiderate. I’m not sure if they were a regular customer of this coffee shop but if you want peace and quiet, this may not be your kind of place.

Good coffee and service. The pastries were also good - not too sweet. Plenty of seats, and the cafe was spacious. Will try their banh mi next time. Update, May 2023: went back here because we liked it the first time, however we were disappointed by the change. It was hot inside, their airconditioning was not working and they did not even have fans. The queue took so long, and the wait for our coffee and cookies took even longer. And to top the disappointment: they served us cookies with splashes of coffee on them. If it was not for another guest I think who called their attention they would not even replace it. This cafe now lacks customer service. I hope their management does something about it.

The bread was not crunchy enough. Other times the bread was soft and not crumbly. Iced coffee was so full of ice and the coffee was only part half full. Appears unappealing. Inconsistent at best because last time they served it properly. Service staff and duty supervisor attitudes appear unwelcoming. They appear to be too busy to care for customers. Lastly, the dining area atmosphere was ruined because the counter staff are too noisy. I wouldn't mind the noise of the equipment but their voices while communicating were too loud. All the service staff wore face masks except the supervisor who never even once smiled even to customers.

Their staff here are terrible, they don't even know how to smile to customer even their manager! At least improve the quality of your customer service. It's a shame that the coffee is delicious but can't be appreciated because of the attitude of the staff.
