2 weeks agoMinutes away from the airport and downtown this hotel is in a good location. Close to the Mall of Asia which is the biggest in Asia. The rooms are simple, clean, comfortable beds and the staff is very friendly. The hotel has a pool, good breakfast and the reception is more than willing to help if you need something, being a taxi or sightseeing stuff. Would use it again, as it’s good value for money.

a week agoSubject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unsatisfactory Service and Misplaced Phone at Hotel 101 Dear Hotel 101 Management - Pasay City Branch, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent stay at your hotel. The experience was nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention. First and foremost, my phone was misplaced at our room. My Aunt booked 2 rooms for 3 nights, with 6 guests. When I sought assistance, I was informed that an authorization was needed from my Aunt, a relative who booked the room. Despite this, I was made to wait for almost an hour before any action was taken. The lack of urgency and consideration during this time was deeply frustrating, and it is evident that the hotel's protocol is inconsiderate towards guests' time and needs. Moreover, the check-in process was equally troubling. All guests, including myself, presented valid identification upon arrival. However, we later discovered that the front desk staff had not made copies of our IDs, nor had they recorded any details as per standard procedure. This was confirmed by the front desk officer, which only added to our frustration and concerns about the hotel's operational practices. Overall, I am devastated by the poor level of service provided. The lack of professionalism, disregard for guest convenience, and inefficient handling of simple requests has left me with a negative impression of your establishment. Given the circumstances, I am compelled to rate this experience with a single star, which I believe reflects the level of disappointment we encountered. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to prevent such issues from occurring in the future. Sincerely,
Roxanne Fernando
in the last weekThe services and facilities need improvement. Big difference from previous years we stayed here. Upon arrival in our room, we found it lacked towels, bath mats, and hand towels. Although we requested these from housekeeping, the delivery was delayed and incomplete. The following day, we requested a room cleaning, and the same issue occurred. On another occasion, we requested utensils, which took an hour to arrive and were also incomplete. Location is always good, breakfast was so-so. Staff were friendly and welcoming

3 weeks agoThe hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Hugh SM MALL OF ASIA! And a number of other shops and restaurants. I gave my room a three star only because the AC is an old unit, and it makes the room smelly. I turned it off but the smell is in there for good. I am getting headaches in the morning. I think it's from the AC. I am drinking lots of water too. No difference. But the room itself is great! Comfortable bed. A little kitchen area. A microwave, coffee maker, and a safe. Huge 50" TV! The pool area is nice. Even have a hot tub. Pool is only 1.5 meters deep (4'). That's fine. Staff are super friendly. If it wasn't for the AC, it would be 5 stars. There's a restaurant downstairs. A 7-11 on the main floor outside.

a month agoWe read the reviews and they are generally correct. We checked in fairly quickly (only 10 minutes). There is always a queue for the lifts, but they seemed to be quick. Our room had been partially refurbished. New paint/wallpaper and new furniture. But bathroom, despite new fittings, was still original. Mould in corner and generally neglected. Our room had no towels and the beds no pillowcases. Had to chase down towels (but was told there weren’t enough shower mats) and pillowcases. Had to go downstairs in the evening (and skip the call confusion) for pillowcases as they hadn’t arrived when requested. They did arrive within ten minutes of going to reception. Air conditioner was loud enough to wake the dead and the noise from the hallway felt like someone was in the room. Small bug/baby roach did crawl on me. May be a fluke but didn’t inspire comfort. Based on reviews we had asked for a room facing the swimming pool- so we didn’t get any street noise. But 7 am noise of someone with a plastic bag (they are refurbishing rooms next to ours) was not a welcomed way to wake up. The hallways seemed like a war zone. Broken tiles, tape on floor and battered walls/doors. Location is great, next to a mall which you can walk to (just note the streets smell of sewage).
