5 months agoGuard is oddly aggressive with not allowing me to park my bike in the hallway. Went to Humble Beginnings cafe after a workout ride (hence me not bringing a lock) to get brunch and to take a call. Tried to park my bike at the hallway beside the cafe because it is within view and out of reach of the sidewalk. Guard saw me parking my bike and went on about how my bike will likely damage the glass door/window. I bike often enough to know how to park without this being a risk. I even demonstrated by kicking and shoving my bike around to show that it wouldn’t fall because I set it on the cement wall properly. When I said this, he changed his tune and started saying that leaving my bike there isn’t allowed (if it’s a real policy or napahiya lang siya ewan ko na). I asked if yung glass talaga yung problema o bawal lang talaga magpark, and if that’s the case, bakit andami niyang sinabi pa tungkol sa salamin imbis na sabihin lang ako na bawal magpark dun. Even after I said that I don’t have a lock, he kept insisting that I should park at the lot at the back where my bike would be out of sight even from him. Weird aggression, discouraging for a bike commuter such as myself.

a year agoIt’s an old building. The entrance is at the back and it took me some time to find it. There’s also a parking lot at the back.
