2 months agoThis is where we got married. The parish in the University of Santo Tomas (UST) is the Santisimo Rosario Parish. Located within the UST campus in Sampaloc, Manila, it serves the spiritual needs of the UST community, including students, faculty, staff, and nearby residents. Key Features: Architecture: The church reflects a simple yet elegant design, with modern and traditional influences, offering a serene atmosphere conducive to prayer and reflection. Interior: Inside, the parish showcases a beautifully crafted altar featuring a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, known as Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, the patroness of the parish. History: Established in 1942 during World War II, the church became a sanctuary for refugees and internees during the Japanese occupation. Functions: The parish hosts daily Masses, sacraments, and various spiritual activities for the UST community and beyond. 10 months agoInside a campus full of history, UST Church also has its fair share of history as well. The exterior has remained the same ever since it was built a few hundred years ago. The interior is quite modest while also having air conditioning. Good Mass service and father. Altogether, it was a great visit going to UST Church.
