3 months agoA word of caution - even though everything's nice and bright inside the mall, be very careful of your surroundings as you step outside, as there are a lot of snatchers and pickpockets in this very busy area. This used to be the Ever Grand Central years ago. Then it got burned down and vacant for a long time. First to be SM is the other side which was also Ever turned Hypermarket. There is always a multitude of people because of its prime location, Monumento LRT. Especially overcrowded during Holidays weekends or sale. OMG triggers my panic attack. Long hallways to reach their CR. Usually with soap, but often no toilet paper. In the sink almost half of the faucets are not working as well. Foodcourt, a lot of standby, not really eating but on their phones. This mall has Ace Pet Express Watsons cinema chapel everything. This is way bigger than the nearby (actually you can walk going there) SM Sangandaan Caloocan. I observed many of the stores had closed down and replaced by other tenants. I hope this mall will not be wasted or poorly maintained as it is class CDE mallgoers in here. From CaMaNaVa and nearby. This mall is pet friendly but NOT stray friendly, unlike the Ayala malls.

4 weeks agoSM City Grand Central is a large shopping mall located in the northern part of Metro Manila, Philippines. It offers a wide range of retail shops, dining options, and entertainment facilities, including cinemas and recreational areas. The mall is designed to cater to both local residents and visitors, providing a vibrant shopping experience with various events and activities throughout the year. It’s a popular destination for families and individuals looking for leisure and retail therapy.

a year agoFirst time to visit this particular SM mall. I was pleasantly surprised to see the place since the new mall stands on what was once another mall, which was a part of my college days having lived in the 80's. Convenient to visit when you take the LRT since it is connected to it. You go straight to the mall from the station. SM has built a nice mall with a good number of shops, restaurants, and other retail and services concessionaires. Nice layout with garden ambiance. A lot of sitting areas with artificial greens. Easy to navigate around. I love the chapel at the upper level of the mall.

a month agoThey will scam you. If you order food with drinks, they will offer you different drinks to try, and then you’ll be surprised to find out that there’s an additional charge. When I got my order, the drink wasn’t even there. I asked the waiter if my order was complete, and he said yes. I asked him if he was sure, and he replied that it was everything I ordered. When I showed him my receipt, he said, 'Oh, just come back; I’ll get it.' If I hadn’t brought it up, the 'additional drinks' would have been forgotten. Poor service.
