The Try-Hard Guy
3 months agoAll the staff were friendly and attentive. The place was clean even the restroom. Loved the vibe and aesthetics here. I was surprised to see this place has improved a lot. The last time I went here was so long ago already that the whole structure is different now, and I'm glad I came back. The cheese stuffed meatball was really good. The lechon kawali was just okay. Their rum coke was mixed just right and not too strong. And pets are allowed! We were hesitating to go in at first, because my friend brought his big dog with him. His dog turned out to be the star of the 2nd floor. Even received a gift from a fellow patron. Find me on my socials The Try-Hard Guy @thetryhardguy.tthg

3 weeks agoI finally had the chance to experience a live jazz band. I was lucky enough to have front-row seats, giving me a full, immersive experience. The band was incredibly interactive with the audience, creating a lively atmosphere.

a year agoIt's a great place to enjoy live music. The performers aren't super popular but they're great performers. There aren't a lot of options on their menu but their food is great. I especially recommend their version of Dynamite for those who love the thrill of eating spicy food. Their service crew is also very friendly and accommodating.

4 months agoListen to the best of Philippine jazz here! Food is also good, we tried the sisig, meatballs, and fries.

4 months agoFull disclosure, I love anything Jazz related. Reservation needed. Live music, played by local artists was amazingly fun and enthusiastic. Reminded me of places I frequented in NYC in back in the 80s and 90s. Same ambiance. I was happy to see a somewhat younger crowd that keeps jazz a viable alternative here in Metro Manila, and not only old gizzards like me. The food was actually good and very affordable, eased by the alcohol and drinks, it was just right. All in all, spent around the 1k pesos, including entrance fee, dinner, drinks, tips, and lots of fun in a friendly neighborhood jazz joint, and loved it! For a Saturday night, and a world class fun venue, it's a steal. Will definitely do it again.
