2 months agoOne of the best services for a Japanese restaurant. She even replaced our iced coffee for a better made one even if it was already made well. Also gave me a free dessert even if I didn’t get a set meal. Our server Gen was extra ordinary.

5 months agoLove the place. Clean and not to loud. It’s really hard to find an authentic Japanese restaurant but Tanabe didn’t fail us. The foods were worth the price. The foods are quality most especially the fresh sashimi and tempura. Will definitely come again

3 weeks agoA long standing Japanese resto in malate, tanabe has built a great reputation for serving quality authentic Japanese cuisine. Price of a meal can easily cross 1000 or more. The restaurant itself can use a bit of cleaning and repair, as some areas are noticeably unsightly and looks questionable, especially when you consider the high price they charge. Parking is always difficult around remedios circle / malate restaurants.

a year agoWe were very satisfied with the meal. California roll with shrimp and seafood salad was good for the two of us. The sukiyaki was too much food and it was very tasty. No problem here. We enjoyed eating here!

5 months agoI first tried them back in 2013 in their now defunct Makati location, and has been coming back since. 2024 update - I still enjoyed my Steak Kaku Teikoshu! My default order whenever I’m in Tanabe.
