a month agoLove the place. Clean and not to loud. It’s really hard to find an authentic Japanese restaurant but Tanabe didn’t fail us. The foods were worth the price. The foods are quality most especially the fresh sashimi and tempura. Will definitely come again

2 months agoI first tried them back in 2013 in their now defunct Makati location, and has been coming back since. 2024 update - I still enjoyed my Steak Kaku Teikoshu! My default order whenever I’m in Tanabe.

a year agoWe were very satisfied with the meal. California roll with shrimp and seafood salad was good for the two of us. The sukiyaki was too much food and it was very tasty. No problem here. We enjoyed eating here!

a year agoQuite a gem in the Remedios area. This is probably one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever dined in. This is mid-range price point at about ₱700 (in 2022) per head if you're really hungry. My husband got the steak set, and I got the tempura set. Both are complete meals right there for about ₱750 each, while our friends got salmon bowls. Everything is so gooooood, even the tofu appetizer. I hope they have branches in the South, too, as I haven't been able to encounter a Japanese restaurant this good in South NCR.
