It was my first time visiting the Philippines, and I was truly impressed with the hotel service, especially the staff. The reception team was always helpful and accommodating. Initially, we encountered some issues with our room, but they quickly assisted us in switching to a better one. After checking out, I realized I had left something in the room. I am incredibly grateful to Miss Angeline, a staff member at the front desk, who kindly helped me retrieve it. She ensured my belongings were safely kept in the lost and found department and guided me on the necessary steps and documents to get it back. She is a valuable asset to the hotel, and I feel like a very fortunate customer.

The staff are excellent, warm, friendly and always helpful. I would like to mention especially Ms. Nicole, Sir Nico and Ms. Marie at the front desk for always being helpful and accommodating. They even assisted me when I urgently needed to print out important documents. All the staff I encountered were great. Those in the reception area, parking attendants, food servers, guards, maintenance people, room service workers, cleaners. :) I just really wish that the whole hotel, including the rooms, weren’t too cold and that the air conditioning temperature wasn’t hard to adjust.

The hotel was nice with great service, the location is perfect for travelers and shoppers. Also, I would like to thank Ms. Aira for helping my daughter to find a shop for buying a wedding dress and the perfume suggestion. My daughter is satisfied with her choice. I also thank her for caring about my daughter’s safety about going out at night alone. Ms. Aira suggested to visit the mall instead of the night market, on the next day she made sure my daughter arrived safely. She is truly hospitable and an asset in this hotel. As I did not get the chance to thank her personally, I hope she sees this and please keep your kindness. It is rare to find this kind of service from the heart. Felt like home.

Kuya Danny was very attentive at the pool area. Always willing to help with a smile on his face. The waitress who served us our cocktails last night was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at the Heritage.

I recently stayed at The Heritage Hotel Manila, and while there were some positives, the experience overall was disappointing. First, the good: The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. The lobby looks great, especially at night, with its high ceiling giving a grand and welcoming feel. However, once you get past the lobby, the experience declines. The hotel has a very overpowering musty smell, possibly from humidity causing the growth of mold and mildew. It seems to permeate the entire premises—from the carpets to the walls and, most especially, the rooms. It was suffocating, and the longer you stay, the more you can feel it entering your nose and lungs. I only stayed for one night, but I was coughing almost immediately and continued to do so until the next day, like something was stuck in my throat and lungs from the air in the hotel. As a local, I’ve always heard about the hotel’s bad reputation, and sadly, my experience confirmed it. The rooms are in dire need of improvement—everything feels outdated, and the entire hotel seems long overdue for renovation. It’s disheartening to see such a historic hotel in Manila neglected this badly. While the location and service are good, the poor air quality and overall state of the rooms make it hard to recommend staying here unless major renovations are made.
