The Manila Hotel

The Christmas buffet was really festive and the staff did all that they could to make us feel welcome , we enjoyed the new years eve as well. I loved the banana chips they give for free for guests and the swimming pool staff near the restaurant was really kind. The gym was also complete and the shower and sauna was clean

The staff at the reception and breakfast restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The team at the lobby hotel restaurant was also nice but not very attentive. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and was very good, although the coffee was quite weak. The rooms are outdated with old carpet flooring, which is starting to lift in some areas. On the other hand, the fitness center is modern, newly equipped, and exceptionally well-furnished for a hotel gym. The opening hours are also excellent! Overall, it’s okay, and the location is convenient.

Very disappointed with the hotel's staff. As soon as I was dropped off, I was seen carrying with a lot of baggage. None of the staff attended to assist. Even after I received my key from the reception, they did not even offer to assist me to my room. If I was to compare this to other 5 star hotels, they're at the very bottom of the list in terms of service. Seems like you have to ask for help before they attend to you. Besides from that, room and other amenities are good. Again, staff was pretty much useless during my stay here.

Despite a few minor shortcomings, The Manila Hotel remains a captivating destination, offering a glimpse into the Philippines' glorious past while providing a contemporary hospitality experience.

We’ve stayed on different hotels in the Philippines but this hotel is def on our top list. Why? - World Class customer service. From breakfast buffet staffs to lobby, pool, in room services, they are absolutely amazing. Keep up the good work! - Clean rooms. Clean pool. Kids loved it - wonderful breakfast buffet options. - Free shuttle going to Mall of Asia. - Kid friendly. We stayed here for more than 5 nights and it’s amazing. This is by far our fave hotel in the Philippines.
