a month agoHeard a lot of good things about this massage place, and the price isn’t bad. I give it 3 stars because it was an overall mid experience: Pros: -Ambience was very clean, diffuser had a minty scent which was relaxing -Massage rooms were spacious -Music was calming too -Prices are not bad Cons: -Massage rooms towards the end are close to (what I assume is) the staff room so you can hear people coming/going, talking and giving instructions -Massage itself was okay, the pressure was too light for my liking and at one point it felt like the therapist was just holding my nape/shoulders/head and tapping or wiggling her fingers at random intervals. Not a Thai massage expert but that’s never happened to me at a massage before, and I wasn’t sure if it was a technique or if she was just passing time haha. Normally I wouldn’t mind but it happened multiple times and in long intervals too, maybe 5-10 mins in total of the therapist just holding me idly. (Saw another review mention it below so I know it’s not just me haha)

a year agoOne of my favorite massages stores in Makati. I came for many times before COVID though it had a different name then. After COVID, the space changed, not as comfy as before, but the therapists are still good. Besides, the smell and the temperature are great, even they didn’t offer ginger tea anymore. They serve foot massage on the chair, that’s my favorite part.

6 months agoThe massage was short of mediocre but what should be noted here was the bad service. I booked by phone and came at 6pm and there was no one at the reception and after calling out the massage therapist came without even saying “hello” and looked liked I disturbed her from whatever she was doing prior. After washing my feet she told me to put back my shoes on (when it is standard that they give the flip flops to use) what was most bothering was that during the massage her colleague would open the curtain and start chatting with her and not even in a hushed voice… this happened not once but 3 times. At the end of the massage she also placed an envelope in front of me (obviously for tips) without saying anything and when I put a tip inside she said a half-hearted “thanks” without looking at me. This place used to be good years ago, it’s sad that the level of service went way down. I preferred going here since I live in the neighborhood. This could be something the management could take note of.

7 months agoMassage was stressful not pleasant. I’ve been going here since it was called another name but I’ve seen the quality of massage and customer service going down. What made me write this is obviously the last massage where it felt rushed and so uncomfortable. Lady at the front was trying to get a tip. Not even asking how it was. So unpolite. That’s it I’m not coming back to this place.

a year agoThe place (esp the pillow) smelled super clean; background sound was good; ambience very relaxing; good masseuses. Maybe a point for improvement would be something to cover your eyes with while lying prone. Overall a very good experience. They’re located at the basement, but the sign is clear about their location along C Palanca Street.
