White Banana Manila

Location has no parking. We needed to park in the streets. We just ate in their restaurant because it’s 50% off in eatigo. Their restaurant is a good chilling place though. Their resto is beach themed. Service is kinda slow, waited for 30minutes before the food was served. We ordered the sushi plate, tuna in white wine, grilled tuna rice bowl and the plant based burger. If you’re looking for a healthy meal, this is perfect for you. 1. Sushi platter is good for 1 person, serving is a bit small based on their price. 2. Tuna rice bowl tastes good also. This will fill your tummy already since it’s served with rice. 3. Tuna in white wine sauce, i like that it’s not salty. Good for people looking for a healthy meal. It has no rice though so i just used the rice served together with the sushi platter. The first 3 meal were served with crunchy sides which is a perfect match with the meals. Though i was not able to ask what it’s called. 4. The plant based burger, sorry but i did not enjoy eating the burger. Well this is just for me, maybe i expected more flavors in the patty. Though, i enjoyed their chips on a side which i think was hand made by the chef. Hope this helps

"Everything about this hotel is a scam ???" I strongly disagree. And l am a world traveller. I have stayed here on and off for a year now. Moses has always been more than friendly and helpful and both he and his staff have shown exepetional customer service . I lost a large amount of Cash and had it all returned. IMHO the staff are all hard working, professional and friendly. Sorry that someone had bad experience. Everyone l met was impressed and l would recomend White Banana without hesitation to anyone

This is a nice affordable hostel and restaurant bar combo! It was my first time visiting the Philippines and I'm glad I found this place in Makati. The neighborhood is filled with bars, Japanese and korean restaurants, clubs and a church. The rooms bunk bed rooms were okay, but the highlight is definitely the rooftop bar and the location in Poblacion.

Everything about this place is a scam. The manager Moses is incredibly rude and unprofessional. They will say anything to get your money and then cancel your booking at the last minute with no warning and still refuse to refund your payment. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone after the way the manager treated me and my wife. Avoid this place at all costs if you want any amount of peace of mind for your stay in Manilla. 1 star is too many. Edit: In response to the owners lies responding to my review. 1. Moses was the one yelling on the phone and constantly talking over me while I was patiently asking for a chance to talk without being interrupted without ever being given a chance. 2. I never threatened anything about social media as I do not even post anything on any social media accounts as I am a private person by nature and do not share my personal life with strangers. 3. I simply came here to leave an honest review about my experiences with this establishment after being treated incredibly poorly. I hate leaving negative reviews and only do so when absolutely deserved. 4. There was no actual offer being made by Moses as claimed, just constant deflection, lies and rudely talking over me any time I asked politely to have a chance to talk. 5. I stand by my review 100% and urge folks to think twice about staying here with the attitude that management has towards people and their utter dishonesty. 6. To Moses: I hope you can find a path to a better place in life where you do not have to treat people so poorly and can learn some common decency and how to treat people with respect. I wish you the best on your journey to bettering yourself.

Hotel was good, but the restaurant is vegan/vegetarian. It’s mostly high sugar items, fruity things, and super processed vegan stuff. Hard pass on eating there
