Winford Resort and Casino Manila

Lives up to its Name. Its also beside the Mall. Easy access for anything. Swimming pool has warm water. We only experienced a problem when the Grab driver we ordered. Couldnt find our location and parked on for some reason.

Winford itself is ok, the pools are great for kids because there's a pool that's not too deep. Although, the rooms are not very clean and they even forgot to put towels and robes in our room and a supervisor went up to our room to check the whole place for towels and robes. When she couldn't find them, she told me that we can't check out if the towels and robes are not there. I told her that how can we give the towels back if we weren't given towels and she only repeated what she said. It went on for maybe a solid 10mins that we were just repeating ourselves. Mind you, I was pregnant that time so imagine how frustrating it was for me. After double checking, they realized that they really forgot and that supervisor never went up to apologize, only the house keepers. Foods are so so.

The room is nice and cozy. Clean and sanitized. Nothing much to be excited about on this hotel as there is no amenities to do. Don’t expect the same ambience or service that you will get on a higher star rating hotel. The price of their rooms is a little bit high for the hotel experience. 3 star is the appropriate review for the hotel.

This is our home away from home when visiting the Philippines! The place is safe considering the security (they have to screen your vehicle as well as Xray your belongings). They also boasts of unwavering smiles and courteous bows from the friendly and beautiful staff all around you! Their rooms are excellent with good air conditioning and excellent sanitation! The restaurants are superb and definitely a gastronomical delight! The casino albeit smoky is a haven for winnings! And the clientele unusually friendly that you’ll feel like it’s a big family affair! The Hippodrome where they have different bands nightly, showcases the talents that are uniquely Filipino! The overall price for a room is affordable with buffet breakfast for two included! And to top it off, SM San Lazaro is just a few steps of a walk across the hotel building! Always looking forward to our next trip to Manila and staying at the Winford and its “Service with a Smile!”

This establishment is not as huge or sophisticated as other resorts / casinos in other cities but still luxurious enough for the more masa Tondo crowd. Only two elevators which takes forever. Staff are courteous. Went to the concert at the Ballroom. If you are an elderly or ginawin, better pack up on a scarf or jacket, been overhearing them complain it was too cold. Perhaps what I don't like is Winford's too frequent text messages. Enjoyed concert tonight.
