Z Hostel Philippines

Z hostel is surrounded by all the amazing bars and nightlife places However the bathroom in the room was very dirty and there’s tiny cockroaches around the sink. I stayed here for two nights and another night before my flight back. They did have a common shower room at the second floor so it was not a problem for me and still I enjoyed my time here!

Good rooms, quality ratio wise. Bathrooms, rooms, linen, beds are super clean and comfortable. Staff is kind and helpful. Common spaces are good, well setup and you have many of them. Only slight downside is the "free breakfast" (quotes cause it's baked into the room price). We weren't told we could have eggs how we liked them (cooked on demand) so we just grabbed the hard boiled eggs on the table and they were way over cooked and grey. Also the rice and hotsilog were cold, room temp.

I did not actually stay in the rooms at this infamous hostel, but I definitely came for some of the parties and events on the rooftop. they've got tons of neat games on the second floor which apparently nobody uses, and on the rooftop beer pong and DJs. drinks are reasonably priced and best of all, it's very easy to meet friendly people here! especially if you want to learn more about destinations in the Philippines. some of the staff can be a bit snobby.

Nice staff , good price/value and , the place is not our favourite the music dont stop till morning so its hard to sleep. The beds are comfy, the drinks are cool and the rooftop bar has a really nice view and a 360 panorama to Manila!

I've used Z as my home away from home for close to 10 years now I believe? The location is convenient, the rooms are very clean, the service and staff are amazing! The prices aren't bad either! Z definitely punches above its weight in terms of the value that you get for your money. Don't hesitate to stay here. Really awesome place!
