a month agoI've decided to revise my original review. I was very upset when I left my original review for this hotel, and while I definitely did have some negative experiences, there were also a good deal of positives and I feel that only highlighting the negatives was unfair. Upon checking into the hotel on New Years Eve, the lobby was absolutely jam-packed. The staff, however, maintained good attitudes and were very professional in what were undoubtedly stressful circumstances. They all seemed very capable and absolutely qualified to perform their occupational duties at a high level. There just were not enough employees, regardless of how qualified they were, to adequately deal with this crowd in an efficient manner. The elevator situation was also a mess. I waited on the second floor of the parking lot for half an hour plus with two arms full of food for my family as the elevator was seemingly too full and just skipped right over me, going all the way up and back down multiple times not stopping at my floor. While there are stairs, they are designated as the fire exit, and outside of these stairs is the traditional bright colored fire exit sign. I know that the fire exit doors in some businesses trigger an alarm when opened. I had no idea if this one did, and I am still unsure if taking the stairs was an option. If so, I'd have gladly done it. This experience was very frustrating. The rooms themselves in this hotel, however, were very impressive. The shower was phenomenal, and the cleanliness in the room, and the bathroom absolutely met the standard you would expect from a luxury hotel. This is made all the more impressive by the pressing demand of widespread cleanliness needed to accommodate the aforementioned large crowd brought on by the holiday. The staff did an excellent job in this regard. The other big downside of my experience here was the pool. The pool was one of the things that I most looked forward to about my stay, and I found it far too cold to be enjoyable. Regarding this, I do appreciate the explanation that I was given as a response to my previous review, but I do maintain that this was very disappointing. But in general, I very much appreciate the response I received to my initial review. I felt as though my criticisms were legitimately listened to and taken seriously, whether or not any of them actually get addressed, the response was nonetheless very professional and informative. Thank you for taking the time to make my concerns feel heard.

2 months agoOur stay in Citadines Roces Quezon City was very pleasant. From the moment we arrived in the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff and reception which made the checkin process seamless. The room we booked was a One-Bedroom deluxe and it is very clean and spacious. It also has the essentials that we needed during our stay. There are ample space for your belongings such as safe, luggage space, shoe rack and many cabinets. Iron, hamper, hair blower, safe, towels and toiletries are all provided. The kitchen is also complete with the things you need to cook in the room. For the bathroom, it is big and spacious, and the water pressure is really good. The toiletries provided are nice as well. Meanwhile, the living room and bedroom has comfortable sofa and bed. I had a good night sleep. Overall, every thing is nice in the hotel. The provided breakfast has a decent and tasty spread which they refilled until the last minute. Really good hotel with good value for money. One of the nicest stays I’ve had this year.

2 weeks agoExceptional Service and Hospitality! I recently had a wonderful stay at Citadines Hotel on Roces Avenue, Quezon City. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The security guards, especially JM and Jonard, were extremely respectful, helpful, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The guest services team was equally impressive—although I forgot to collect their names, their professionalism and hospitality did not go unnoticed. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, accommodating, and truly committed to providing excellent service. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Quezon City. Keep up the fantastic work!

in the last weekGood location, spacious and modern rooms, and as a platinum member a room upgrade was provided automatically which was great. Unfortunately, as mentioned in the other reviews, the terrible service lets it down completely. As other people have mentioned in their reviews for the past few months, the elevators are excruciatingly slow. Expect 2-3 minute wait times, even on popular floors like the ground floor and the lobby. Parking has to be validated each and every time you leave and can't be done in advance, so this together with the elevator means you need to leave 10 minutes in advance. Just like the elevators, despite reviews mentioning the bad WiFi, the WiFi is still unusable. Websites and any apps (like Grab and Google Maps) will either take 10 seconds to load or not load at all. Latency keeps spiking to 900-1500 ms on every device and even when using wired internet. Video calls and meetings are entirely impossible. Despite every review bringing up these issues are getting a response saying "we are currently working to address this issue", it's been 4-5 months and nothing has changed. The 1 deluxe bedroom suites don't come with a washing machine, so we had to use the public launderette. The staff insisted twice that the detergent should go in the bleach compartment, despite me telling her twice that it should go in the detergent compartment. When I came back, the clothes were obviously not washed and the staff had to re-do both loads. We were 30 minutes late for our dinner because we needed clean clothes. Because of this, we had to switch to another room with a washing machine. Despite every room type being available to book, apparently none were available that day and we had to wait until the next day. It was either a lie or whoever made a reservation that same day would have been stuck without a room. We requested housekeeping to make up the room and replace the sheets, but all they did was take the trash and old towels, gave us 1 new towel (all the other towels were missing), and then left everything else as-is. The cycling machines in the gym are broken, one of them is rattling and can't be increased in level (so it's always super light) and the other has a disconnected cable under the seat so the heart rate monitor doesn't work. All of these are issues that can easily be resolved if the staff was properly trained and coordinated, but it feels like management is either missing or incompetent. The manager I spoke with about some of these issues was unable to offer any explanations nor compensation. Even when I specifically inquired about breakfast, he didn't even think of offering that for free after all these issues and mistakes on their end, and just cited the P850/adult/night charge. Unbelievable and very disappointing.

4 months agoThe experience I got with this hotel is just amazing and never expected it. The staff is so respectful and supports you in any way possible, this includes room service. The room I was in was so big, so much space, it had literally everything. It had a kitchen, a microwave, huge TV, huge and comfortabel bed, a couch to sit on and I can go on. It was also very clean! I was only here for 2 days and would've loved to stay longer, so next time I will definitely book this hotel again.
