2 months agoGood customer service. Serving is a little small but tasty food. Ordered Birria, Al pastor taco and Ripe mango shake. Just wondering about the sour cream for the tacos, it was not a regular sour cream but has garlicky flavor. Traditional tacos have sour cream without any flavouring, which I’m used to. Cozy and hip atmosphere too.

a week agoI forgot to take photos of the food 'cause I was really hungry. Lol! But the food was AMAZING! No wonder it's famous around Poblacion for a mexican food fix. Totally loved the Gonzo Chicken Adobo & Fried Eggs! 🔥 so tasty, I can really taste the garlic in that Adobo. Their serving is also large, I was really hungry when the food came but I still wasn't able to finish all of it. We also tried their Grilled Boneless Chicken, and I love it! I usually dont order chicken cause there's a high chance that it would be bland, but that chicken is so flavorful and well-seasoned. Their quesadillas and enchiladas are good too. Was not able to try everything as I was already too full, but worth going back for. We also tried cocktails, and I think my favorite is their signature, La Chupadita. Almost finished 2 of those. 🤭 we didnt like the Sangria, but the Amaretto sour is nice too. 👌🏼 Will definitely come back and try others on the menu. 💯

3 weeks agoWhy aren't you here already?! There is only one place i want to visit when I keep returning to Manila, and it's this restaurant. I am the biggest hype person for the food and drinks to anyone who will listen as they plan their trip to the Philippines. As someone who grew up around Los Angeles, I know a thing or two about street tacos, and the seemingly simple street tacos here are absolute flavor bombs. And, the house margarita is incredible. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with a visit. The place can get busy, but it's hit or miss. Friday night was low key when I arrived, but folks started rolling in a little later. Anyway, I could eat here a couple times a week for the rest of my life.

2 months agoStreet tacos were just okay. Very hot in the restaurant and no cold water available. Price was a little high for the order.

5 months agoKudos to El Chupacabra for having maintained quality of food & ambiance over so many years! Bowl of Chili con Carne with excellent tortilla chips is always wonderful, especially with Corona! Street tacos were good, with Gonzo Pollo Adobo as the real stand-out. Boneless chicken skewers were good as well.
