a month agoHoliday Inn Express in Newport, Pasay, is a practical choice for travelers who need a quick and convenient stay near NAIA Terminal 3. Its biggest advantage is its location—just a short walk via the Runway Manila bridge, making it ideal for those with early flights or layovers. It’s also right next to Newport World Resorts, where you can find restaurants, a casino, and entertainment options. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was courteous and efficient. However, the room itself was quite small. While it had the essentials—comfortable bed, a functional desk, and a clean bathroom—it felt a bit cramped, especially if you have larger luggage or are staying for more than a night. The air conditioning worked well, but noise from the hallway could be heard inside, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Breakfast was included in the stay, but the buffet selection was quite basic. Expect standard options like eggs, toast, a few hot dishes, and coffee. It’s enough to get you going for the day, but don’t expect anything too fancy. Overall, this hotel is best suited for travelers prioritizing convenience over luxury. If you’re just looking for a quick overnight stay with easy airport access, it does the job. However, if you prefer spacious rooms and a more elaborate breakfast, you may want to explore other options

4 weeks agoIt was our first time in Manila and we decided on this hotel. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Police outside at all times so it felt secure and they were always very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet was great and had a nice selection of food with variations throughout our stay. Our last day we were able to get a late check out when we were leaving I had requested a cab through an app to take us to the airport but all of our luggage wasn’t going to fit so we needed to request another car but the app wouldn’t let me. The hotel employee that was helping us load our luggage offered to booked one for us on his app! He was amazing and super nice he went above and beyond to help us out and he is one the main reasons we would definitely be booking here again next year when we return. Everyone was amazing!

a week agoThe rooms is definitely for a quick stay. It had a horrible mould smell. The bathroom definitely showed a lot of mould stains. Service 3/5 Windows aren't noise proof. Not sealed enough you can smell traffic pollution from outside. The breakfast buffet is great. Bar tenders needs more information about what the bar menu. Cleanliness 4/5 Staff should not assume that guests can speak tagalog. Security 10/10 The airport shuttle schedule needs to be better than just one trip a day. The bus just sits there all day?

2 weeks agoI recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pasay from February 28 to March 2, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon entering the room, everything seemed fine until I stepped into the bathroom and was shocked to discover that the toilet was filled with tissue paper. It was an unsanitary and utterly unacceptable situation. I immediately called room service, and to my dismay, they explained that instead of properly addressing the issue, they simply flushed the toilet to get rid of the tissue. There was no indication of a thorough cleaning or any effort to ensure the room met acceptable hygiene standards. Given that I checked in past midnight, there was plenty of time to prepare the room properly, yet it was evident that the necessary housekeeping procedures were not followed. This experience not only marred my stay but also left a lasting negative impression. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements stricter cleaning protocols to prevent future guests from enduring similar issues.

a week agoI had an unfortunate experience during my stay here, when I urgently needed a charger to contact my husband, but I didn't have time or cash with me to go to a convenience store. I’ve stayed at other hotels where the staff went out of their way to assist me, even lending me a charger when I needed it. Unfortunately, the staff here specifically the front desk wasn’t as accommodating. Instead of offering help, they simply pointed me to a charging station at a convenience store. It was disappointing that they didn’t make any effort to assist me in such a critical situation.
