House Manila at Newport World Resorts

This is my second time at the Holiday Inn, and I’m really happy to get the same outstanding service. The hotel staff are very accommodating to all of us. The room I stayed in is clean and also has a great view because it’s facing the airport.

In my opinion this Hotel should have a higher rating than 3 stars. The location is great, just by the airport & mall which has some lovely shops & restaurants. Friendly staff, comfortable room and the shower is great. Would definitely return if in Manila again.

Solid hotel if you just need it for the night before catching a flight the next day. We arrived around midnight and were able to walk over from terminal 3 (though there were other hotels that were closer, this one is towards the very end of the block). I did not expect the tight security, you have to get x-rayed to come in and lots of security guards standing around...but the staff were overall helpful. They did have some issues with taking our card when we were there, but it was a minor issue with their card readers and was resolved quickly. The front desk staff were friendly. The room we had was actually better than I expected after reading some of these other reviews. It appeared clean and everything was in working condition. I was actually impressed by the breakfast, I felt they had quite a few options and it was really nice to eat there before more travel. We ended up paying about $70 for the night and for that price it was a good product imo.

Staffs are nice and accommodating. Room is clean and has a great smell. Breakfast is good. I love that you can choose the type of coffee you want, not just plain coffee and milk, they have machines for cappuccino and others. Great value for money. They don’t have smoking are inside the hotel, but they have separate space for smoking area beside the dining area. The common comfort room in the ground floor is so clean and has lots of tissues unlike other hotels. I just don’t like the entrance of the hotel wherein put their things thru xray as people tend to build up on a close and small place to get their things. But overall it is a great hotel and will surely come back.

Just because it is right next to the Hilton doesn't mean you get the same treatment. The service and quality are definitely lacking. The lobby is actually quite grand and has a wow factor. But that's where it all ends. There is airport tight security going into the hotel. Bags and luggages need to be x-rayed upon entry. The rooms are very used and worn out. 95% of the outlets do not work. The bathroom door doesn't close and lock. It keeps opening by itself. There is no ventilation in the bathroom so it's gets very humid. This explains all the mold in the bathroom. If you're on a budget, then this is an option but I wouldn't recommend it if you could help it.
