We had a brilliant time at Raffles. The hotel has outstanding facilities and incredibly warm, courteous and very helpful staff. It is also in the best location in Manila -Makati. Finally, it is fairly close to the airport: so nice not having to sit in endless Manila traffic. PS: my partner claims the mattress was the best of all the hotels she’s stayed in

I recently visited Makati with two business associates/friends and our families. Raffles' concierge team helped us plan every detail in advance. From private tours to restaurant reservations in and outside the hotel. There were about 50 emails between us trying to get everything in order. It's always a little concerning trying to coordinate with folks in a different time zone and a city I had never traveled to before. However, the Raffles' concierges gave me very timely and comprehensive responses. We stayed at other hotels during our stay in the Philippines, and the staff at Raffles were by far the easiest to communicate and plan with. Once we were there, the butlers and concierge team attended to our every need. Communicating with our transport team and tour guides and making sure we had everything we needed in our rooms. My husband's shirt and pants were pressed and ready to go for dinner our very first night. They even helped us find boxes to help transport some gifts we brought the offshore team we were traveling to visit. My husband and I stayed in one of their suites which was very modern and perfect for us as we don't have children. There were lots of extra touches like turn down service, afternoon tea, and little treats throughout our stay. My business associates and their families stayed in the Residences which are MASSIVE. There even appeared to be nanny quarters. Though, I will say, that by American standards it wasn't really a space that I would feel comfortable having someone stay in. It was very small and stark. If you have a nanny or personal assistant traveling with you, I'd recommend getting them their own room. The most impressive thing was the view from my business associate's room with HUGE WINDOWS in the Residences on New Year's Eve. We could see all the fireworks over Ayala square. It was truly a special moment for us. Thanks so much to everyone at Raffles who made our stay exceptional. We hope to be back soon!

Out of all the fine dining experiences I’ve had, this will be one to remember. Our server Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and was nice and attentive enough to even bring me a complimentary chocolate cake to celebrate my departure. Mireio is a must if you’re staying at the hotel or around the Makati area. The food was excellent and we would be back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the whole team for such a good experience!

What sets Raffles apart from other hotels is its staff. From the concierge and reception to the maintenance technicians and cleaning staff. I've never experienced the chambermaid greeting me by name in the hallway like that before. All the staff are extremely friendly, attentive and at the same time unobtrusive. You can feel the genuine hospitality. I would like to emphasize Jayson from the Mireio Restaurant. He combines all the positive elements of service, shows genuine interest in the guest, reads their wishes from their eyes, and also demonstrates this attitude outside of his actual area of responsibility. For me, Jayson is the face of Raffles and ensures that Raffles is my home away from home.

Service is wonderful. Our suite includes a butler service and everyone is very professional, helpful and kind. Peter is our server and he is exceptionally good. I didn’t even need to ask he would change our pates and is fast and made our stay very pleasant.
