2 weeks agoWe had our wedding preparations and reception here. The package offered by the hotel for our wedding was a good deal. We chose New World Hotel mainly because of the proximity to the church, and because our dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel rooms and the function room for our reception. A true pet-friendly hotel. Everything went smoothly, we had a great 2-night stay, and the staff from concierge and banquets are also very warm, helpful and friendly. Our food from the dinner reception and the breakfast buffet were very delicious. Overall, we are very happy with our experience with New World Hotel. We are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you!

3 weeks agoNot a bad place. Rooms are a little dated. Check in was easy. People are nice. Pool is “ok”, not much for kids. Kind of sterile. But ok. Breakfast had some decent choices except they still can’t figure out how to keep thing warm. Sausage cold, eggs cold, fish cold. Kind of annoying, but the chef needs to be educated on the fact that items need heating, or freshness, not just display.

2 months agoI enjoyed my stay at New World Makati Hotel. However, I do think it falls short of a 5 star hotel rating. Service was stellar. Everyone was very polite and friendly. There is a gym and outdoor pool. Location is 5 stars alone being right across Greenbelt 3. Room feels spacious and clean. However, what detracts from the 5 star hotel rating are: - the maintenance of the room. It does feel dated. There is a leak under the bathroom sink with what looks like mold growing. The chalking is already peeling and falling out in corners of the shower -the TV isn't a smart TV. The quality is of the picture is granny and fuzzy - There is no ventilation in the bathroom. This could be why mold is growing under the sink and the wall is peeling - The moisturizer and soaps are made in China. -no microwave in the deluxe room - breakfast buffet seems on the higher end (1300 pesos per person) The hotel definitely needs to up these maintenance factors to prevent the tarnish to its alleged 5 start rating. But overall, a very enjoyable stay.

2 months agoFrom a macroscopic point of view, the room looked amazing, but on closer inspection, the age shows. Service is impeccable, though. However, there is no smart tv, and the bathroom lacks an exhaust. The bed was perfect. Not too soft, not too hard. Slept like a baby. The location was perfect, too. It's right next to Greenbelt, a luxury mall.

3 months agoLovely rooms and facilities. But for me what made the stay so lovely was the attitude of all the staff working here. Always greeted with a smile and a hello. Just think the staff deserve recognition in the roll they play in making a guests stay so pleasant here. Highly recommended New world Makati!
