New World Makati Hotel

We stayed here for five days and had a great experience. The location was very convenient, as it was right across from greenbelt shopping center and just a few minutes’ walk to Glorietta Mall. The hotel itself was beautiful, and while the rooms were a bit outdated, they were spacious, comfortable, and overall a good value for the price. The breakfast buffet was also nice, offering a variety of dishes with good quality food. The staff were also very attentive - they would do things for us without us even needing to ask, which really showed their excellent customer service skills. I also liked the gym it had a good selection of cardio machines and free weights. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t get a chance to use it since we were busy with other activities. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, excellent customer service, good food, and price.

Great hotel, perfect location and super friendly staff. The room attendant SOL was very attentive and helpful.. so friendly and worthy of a good mention in my review. This is my favourite place to stay in Makati. My only Negative is the price of drinks by the pool. Way too high. Better to go to 7/11 nearby and get 6 beers or 8 coke’s for the price of one at the hotel… stop ripping guests off.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4-nights and had a great experience overall. I was surprised to see mixed reviews because, in my opinion, it offered modern amenities, a fantastic location, and solid value for an upscale property. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right across the street from Greenbelt, Landmark, and SM, all of which are conveniently connected. Having easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment was a huge plus and made getting around effortless. The hotel itself has a sleek, modern feel and seems to attract a lot of business travelers and international guests. The design and atmosphere made for a comfortable stay, though I did find that there wasn’t enough drawer or cabinet space for my clothes and personal items. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but I would have appreciated more storage options. The beds also weren’t the most comfortable, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the bathroom was spacious, and I had no issues with water pressure, draining, or temperature, which can sometimes be a problem in hotels. Everything functioned as it should, which made my stay more comfortable. One of the standout aspects of my stay was The Living Room and Residence Lounge. This was a huge plus and really elevated my experience. The offerings in The Living Room were generous, and the service was exceptional. It felt like an exclusive perk that added a lot of value to my time at the hotel. My stay was enjoyable, and I appreciated the modern amenities, fantastic location, and reasonable price point for an upscale property. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Great Location, Disappointing Bed Arrangement This hotel boasts a fantastic location and our room offered a truly lovely view. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. While the staff were efficient, a bit more warmth and friendliness would have enhanced the experience. Our main issue stemmed from the bed configuration. We booked a room with two beds, anticipating a double or queen and a single. Instead, we were given a double bed, which was comfortable, but the additional bed for our teenage son was a small, wheeled cot that was delivered after our arrival. This cramped the room significantly, leaving very little space to move around. Overall, we were happy with our stay due to the prime location and nice view. However, the bed arrangement was a major drawback and should be clarified during booking to avoid disappointment. If you're traveling with a teenager, be sure to confirm the specific type of extra bed you'll receive.

Great hotel, but avoid the laundry service! The New World Makati is a beautiful, well situated hotel. The staff are very helpful and super friendly. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is superb. As is the service in the bar at night, where you sometimes have to endure too loud live music (of variable quality...). The public spaces for the executive rooms are wonderful. The gym is very well equipped. Do not forget to bring a visit to the wellness! One big remark however: do not use the laundry service of the hotel. It is quite good, but way too expensive compared to other laundry services available close to the hotel. And "way too expensive" is an understatement...
