My family and I really enjoyed our overnight stay. We got a free upgrade where we were able to access the executive lounge. Food was awesome as always. The amenities could use some upgrading but no major issues since they were still top notch. Service was excellent and the staff are all friendly. We also brought our dog (need to pay pet fee) which made our stay even better. Thanks Sofitel!

The sea view is gone. When you look outside, it's like a giant litterbox. We had booked this months ago, not knowing what happened to the area. Thankfully it's beside Seascape Village so there are options for dining and hanging out (unfortunately, this was affected by the reclamation, too). Thankfully the room we got had city view. It's nice and cozy, complete facilities, but in dire need of update. The furniture look so dated, too! You could actually go for the classy, vintage feel, but it's not it. I was surprised that check-in and check-out were fast despite the line. Staff were efficient, highly accommodating, and very polite. The people are one of the best parts of the hotel. Another is Spiral. It still retained its quality, and now they're portioning (staff will assist you), which I think is good, so that you can experience the entire buffet by not stuffing yourself too early. There are a lot of free amenities you can enjoy. Unfortunately, we weren't able to experience them all as we had a personal emergency that had us checking out super early.

If you enjoy waiting for everything, it's the hotel for you. Bed is nice, breakfast is excellent. Rooms are very dated, you can't help but feel it was a wonderful hotel 20 years ago. The spa is excellent. But oh how you'll be waiting. Waiting in a queue for 30 minutes for breakfast, waiting to check in, waiting to check out. They have more staff than I have ever seen employed anywhere, and yet the longest waits for hotel basics I've experienced. Clearly poorly managed. But otherwise it's alright. Pool is impressive.

Staying at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel was an exceptional experience. The luxurious ambiance, combined with the stunning views of Manila Bay, made for a truly memorable stay. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and clean, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The hotel staff were attentive and professional, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The dining options were superb, with a diverse array of cuisines at the Spiral buffet, ensuring a delightful culinary journey. The hotel’s amenities, including the beautiful lagoon-style pool and the world-class spa, provided ample opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. The location is also ideal, offering easy access to cultural landmarks and shopping centers.

I booked 2 nights for an early Mother's day celebration for my Mom and Sister. We ate lunch at the nearby Asian Taste Restaurant located at the Seascape Village (with numerous restaurants) which is just 3 minutes by foot. We just booked grab to get to Mall of Asia but they do have shuttles going there. We enjoyed swimming in their pool which is versatile, kids and adults can enjoy due to the depth of the the pool ranging from 3 to 6 ft with slides for kids. The restaurant near the pool, Coco's offers a variety of menu which is perfect for eating by the pool. My Mom loves their Halo-halo. The breakfast at Spiral offers an extensive offering of food from different countries. You can get a huge discount if you book or pay for it the day before you plan to eat at the Spiral. The staff are ready always to lend a hand.
