Belmont Hotel Manila

The hotel is incredibly convenient, just a short walk across the “Sky Bridge” from Terminal 3 on the fourth floor. You descend to the ground level and find yourself less than 50 yards from the hotel entrance. The entire path is undercover, well-lit, and safe. No taxi or trike required. By USA standards, the room is exceptionally clean, comparable to a nice Hilton. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. After a 21-hour flight, I walked from the airport, checked in, and was in my room within minutes. The lobby is open 24/7, so you can check in at any time. The room offers bottled water, a hot shower, good air conditioning, a clean and comfortable bed, and room-darkening window coverings. There’s even a nice restaurant in the lobby if you arrive early enough. It’s exactly what you need after a long flight. The room rates are very good especially when you consider how close to the airport you are.

Quite disappointed. Getting better cribs in other hotels, the one provided was very uncomfortable for baby, as a hotel of this standing baby's bed comfort should be a priority... In room 3005 expect a "stormy" night as lights keep on blinking super bright like lightnings every other 30sec. Also the tv doesn't turn off, had to unplug it and some device behind making a green light plus the door of the hallway having 2-3cm opening at the bottom makes it impossible to have a pitch black room, and you hear all of the people passing in the hallway, no noise isolation. For a hotel of this standing and room of this price it's very disappointing, will not book again. Aside from that the bed was good, staff friendly and very accessible.

This place was excellent in every aspect, with absolutely amazing staff service. I highly recommend it, especially since it's just steps away from the airport. If you're concerned about dining options, you'll find McDonald's, Starbucks, a convenience store, Subway, and Chatime nearby. Plus, the Newport Mall is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel

Overall my experience at this hotel has not been good. This has multiple factors, cleanliness of rooms, quality of food and dinner service. The rooms have a nice layout and feel spacious. After a few minutes and wanting to shower we noticed that in the shower and bath room there was a lot of black mold which I feel like is a definite no go in a hotel. This has to be sorted. We had drinks at the rooftop pool bar, these drinks were nice but not great. Regarding the food at the restaurant, we ate dinner there. The quality of the food was not what I expected from such a hotel. We had cold fries with the burger and a appetizer after the main course. Would not recommend to dine here. We have communicated these issues to the hotel staff and offered a discount for the next stay and to clean our room at night.

At the time of this review, Belmont has the main competitive advantage of location (short walk across the bridge from terminal 3) coupled with great value and a 4 star rating. The cafe food offered enough traditional Filipino food with some regional Asia food as well. While not a 5-star hotel hotel, Belmont has the right balance of location and value.
