3 months agoTo be fair, we only had specialty coffee & desserts here so my review is limited to that. Creamy egg coffee - so creamy! I don’t consider this as a drink. Imagine the texture of a whipped cream and you’re drinking it. Coconut coffee - it was the slush-type. Not sure why? But the staff who took our order said it is coconut milk, espresso, and fresh milk. So not really sure what happened here. Skip this as well. We probably should’ve ordered the normal coffee instead Chocolate tart has some peanuts on the crust. This is okay. While the fried dough stick is very chewy, no sugar, just plain. Can skip also. Ambience is okay. It is quiet. There are outlets available everywhere so good place to study/work.

4 months agoGreat service, special mention to Jane. Banh mi bread was superb, though the beef filling was too sweet for my taste. Pho was excellent, but I would have liked some fish/beef balls mixed in. Loved the Vietnamese coffee. Very authentic. The spring roll was underwhelming. Lacked taste, even with the sauce.

2 months agoFood- I find it too pricey for the quality; there are lots of better vietnamese resto/cafes. I expected so much since I recently visited Vietnam, plus the tiktok is really crazy about the cafe. The beef pho’s no longer hot when we good our food from the counter. Not sure what happened, but I didn’t enjoy it. The herbs (maybe cilantro?) was overpowering. Maybe less of that. I know taste is preferential but I regularly eat pho, so it’s hard not to notice the difference compared to other good restos. Service- it’s self service, not sure what to review really. Plus when I requested half of the bahn mi for take out, the staff just put it directly to the carrier bag. There should be atleast another (or more proper) food container; after a few hours, food’s already spoiled. Understandable but again, disappointing. Atmosphere- glad it’s 24hrs. It’s spacious and I consider it clean.

3 months agoCome here for the cakes ! People keep talking about how good this cafe is. To be fair, this cafe offers you with various Vietnamese menu that are delicious 👌🏻 The Banh mi could be improved and there’s a lot of better options around because here at Pai, the Banh Mi is less fullfilling. Please try their cake variation with their fresh brewed coffee 🤩

5 months agoOrdered the following: Bun Cha - a bit too oily for my taste. But not bad. Chicken Pho - average. Maybe should have gotten the beef instead. Coffee - good and strong. Would recommend. Muffin - average. When we visited the AC was being cleaned so it was a bit warm. Staff was accommodating. Parking available.
